คุณ “โต้” ธนสาร สุกใส และคุณ “เมย์” พนิดา ธรรมรักษ์ ครอบครัวเล็ก ๆ ที่ประกอบอาชีพธุรกิจส่วนตัวโดยเปิดร้านกาแฟ “กรุ่น กา หาร” ที่ป่าละอู และเลือกใช้เมล็ดกาแฟไทยแท้อีกด้วย สำหรับใครที่แวะไปเที่ยวหรืออยากลิ้มลองรสชาตของกาแฟไทยต้องห้ามพลาด เพราะนอกจากจะได้สัมผัสกับรสชาตของกาแฟที่หอมกรุ่นแล้วยังจะได้พบเจอบ้านสวยกลางป่าใหญ่ที่ดีไซน์หลังคาให้เป็นสไตล์ Nordic โดดเด่นด้วยหลังคาจั่วสูง ภายในดูโปร่งโล่ง และเน้นช่องแสงจากกระจกบานใหญ่ บ้านที่คุณโต้และคุณเมย์ตั้งใจปลูกสร้างเพื่อให้เป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของครอบครัวนั่นเอง
This is about a couple, Khun Thanasarn ‘To’ Suksai and Khun Phanida ‘May’ Thammarak, a small family who own and operate the ‘Krun Ka Haan’ café in Pala-U. The coffee beans sold there are genuinely Thai that coffee lovers should come and sample. While having hot and fragrant coffee, the customers can view a beautiful, Nordic-style home amidst the forest. The impressive high gabled roof and the large glass wall provides an airy look from inside the home. Khun To and Khun May intended to start their family life in this home together.
Khun “To” Thanasarn Suksai and Khun “May” Panida Thammarak are a small family running their own business by operating a coffee shop called “Krun Ka Haan” in Pa-la-u.They also choose to use genuine Thai coffee beans. For anyone visiting or wanting to taste Thai coffee, this is a must-visit. Not only will you experience the aromatic flavor of the coffee, but you'll also encounter a beautiful house in the middle of the big forest. The house features a Nordic-style design with a high gable roof, giving it a standout appearance. The interior is spacious and airy, emphasizing large glass windows to allow natural light. This house, built by Toh and May, is intended to be the starting point of their family.
โดยคุณ “เมย์” พนิดา ได้เล่าให้ฟังว่า “เดิมทีเราสองคนพักอาศัยอยู่บ้านพ่อแม่ที่บางสะพาน จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ แต่พอถึงเวลานึงเราเองก็อยากใช้ชีวิตแบบครอบครัว และเราเองก็มีที่ดินของพ่อแม่อยู่แล้วก็เลยคิดที่จะปลูกสร้างบ้าน ช่วงแรกที่คิดจะสร้างบ้านก็ศึกษาข้อมูลมองหาคนสร้างบ้านไว้หลายที่เหมือนกัน แต่ในใจเราอยากได้บริษัทรับสร้างบ้านที่ไว้ใจได้ เชื่อถือได้ ซึ่งจุดสำคัญเลยที่เราเลือกเป็นรูปแบบบริษัทเพราะเรามองในเรื่องของการรับประกัน สัญญาและการบริการ เนื่องจากว่าเรากลัวช่างทิ้งงานและทำให้งานของเราไม่จบ” พร้อมกันนี้คุณ “โต้” ธนสาร ยังได้เล่าเพิ่มเติมอีกว่า “เหตุผลที่เราตัดสินใจเลือกพีดีเฮ้าส์ เพราะว่าก่อนหน้านี้เราเห็นบ้านที่บริษัทสร้างจริงมาแล้ว ดูหลายหลัง อีกอย่างเราเองก็ศึกษาข้อมูลในอินเทอร์เน็ตด้วย ซึ่งจะมีข้อมูลมากมาย มีแบบบ้านให้เลือกพร้อมกับรายละเอียดที่ชัดเจนมาก รู้สเปก รู้ราคา รู้วัสดุที่ใช้ว่าเป็นอะไร ใช้เวลาคิดไม่นานก็ตัดสินใจเลือกเลย”
Khun May told us, “Formerly, both of us lived with our parents in Bang Saphan, Prachuap Khiri Khan. The time came when we thought of building our own home and to start a family. We had searched for information of the many building companies and contractors out there. We needed a reliable one, and most importantly, it should be with a company that are able to provide us with a dependable warranty. I was worried about hiring a builder without a warranty who could possibly leave the work unfinished.” “We chose PD House because we had seen some of their previous builds and we also studied details and testimonials from their website. They have many varieties of designs to choose from. We became aware of the specifications, price and materials before we made a decision to move forward with them.”
Khun May said, "Originally, the two of us lived with our parents in Bang Saphan, Prachuap Khiri Khan province. However, at one point, we wanted to live as a family ourselves, and since we already had land from our parents, we decided to plan for building a house. Initially, when we thought about building a house, we researched and looked for builders at several places. However, deep down, we wanted a construction company which we could trust and rely on. The crucial factor in choosing PD House was because we considered their warranty, contract terms, and service. We were afraid of contractors abandoning projects and leaving our work unfinished." Additionally, Khun To added, "The reason we decided to choose PD House is because we had seen houses they actually built before. We looked at many houses. Moreover, we did our research on the internet, where there is a lot of information, including various house designs with clear details. We knew the specifications, prices, and materials used. After a short consideration, we made the decision to choose them."
สำหรับแบบบ้านที่คุณ“โต้” ธนสาร และคุณ“เมย์” พนิดา เลือกนั้นจะเป็นแบบบ้านแบบ F-113 นำมาปรับรูปทรงหลังคาตามความต้องการ โดยบ้านมีขนาดพื้นที่ใช้สอย 130 ตร.ม. ประกอบด้วย 3 ห้องนอน 2 ห้องน้ำ ห้องครัว ส่วนรับประทานอาหาร และที่จอดรถ 1 คัน เป็นแบบบ้านที่เกิดจากความชอบส่วนตัวและสอดรับกับบรรยากาศที่อยู่โดยรอบ ซึ่งคุณเมย์ได้เล่าเพิ่มเติมว่า “บ้านสไตล์นี้จากการหาข้อมูลมีข้อเสียเยอะทั้งหลังคารั่ว น้ำเข้ารวมถึงแดดร้อนด้วย แต่บริษัทสามารถทำให้เราได้ดีมาก ๆ ข้างในไม่ร้อนอยู่สบาย เวลาฝนตกก็ไม่ได้ยินเสียงเลย ชอบมาก ชอบทุกมุมของบ้านถ่ายรูปออกมาสวยจริง ๆ ” พร้อมกันนี้คุณโต้ยังได้กล่าวเสริมอีกว่า “ก่อนหน้านี้ไม่เคยคิดว่าจะทำบ้านให้น่าอยู่ แค่มีอยู่อาศัยก็พอแล้ว แต่พอได้ตัดสินใจสร้างที่ป่าละอูก็อยากทำให้ดี ให้สวยเวลาเพื่อนมาแล้วรู้สึกว่าบ้านนี้น่าอยู่จังเลย ส่วนการตกแต่งเราช่วยกันคิดดูรูปทรงดีไซน์ของบ้าน ก็เลยเลือกเฟอร์นิเจอร์ตามสไตล์ของบ้าน อยากให้บ้านหลังนี้สวย แขกที่มาก็ชอบทุกที่ ทั้งห้องน้ำ ห้องโถงหรือแม้แต่หน้าบ้าน”
The design Khun To and Khun May chose is F-113 with a modification to the roof. The total living area is 130 sq.m., including three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining area and a parking spot. The design is of their personal choice and conforms well to the surroundings. Khun May also added, “We knew that the roof design could possibly cause some leaks during a heavy rainfall and direct exposure to the sun could cause higher temperatures inside the home. They did an excellent job of resolving our concerns as it never becomes hot inside. I like it very much. The photos of the home show just how beautiful it is.” Khun To said, “I never really gave living in a nice home much thought - that it would be just a place to live in. But when I decided to have a home built, I realized it was necessary to have a nice one. I wanted a beautiful home that attracted the eyes of any one who happened to pass by. We decorated with furniture that matched the style of the home. I wanted the home to be beautiful and elegant throughout and to ensure the front of the house impressed those who visited us.”
For the house chosen by Khun To and Khun May they opted for the F-113 model and have the roof customized to their preference. The house consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, dining area, 1 parking space and with 130 sq. m. usable area. It's a style of this house born from their personal preferences and designed to blend with the surrounding environment. Khun May further elaborated, "This house style, based on our research, has many disadvantages including leaks during heavy rainfall and being hot under the direct expose to the sun. However, they managed to make it very comfortable inside; it's cool and quiet even when it rains. I really like it; every corner of the house looks beautifully photogenic." Additionally, Khun To emphasized, "Previously, I never thought about making a house that was nice to live in. Just having a place to stay was enough. But when we decided to build in Pa-la-U, I wanted to make it good, to make it beautiful so that when friends visit, they feel that this house is really inviting. We collaborated on the decoration and thought about the house's design. We chose furniture that matched the house's style. We wanted this house to be beautiful, and every guest who comes here likes it, whether it's the bathrooms, the foyer, or even the front of the house."

To choose a building company, not only was the quality of work important but also the warranty and services they provide should also be considered. Khun May added, “I was impressed with the quality of work, the service they provided and the concise contract. They gave us a fair assessment of any problems that occurred during the construction - even after working hours. When we asked for any changes that were possible, they did this for us immediately. Furthermore, the home is an energy efficient home with energy saving materials to help reduce the temperature inside the home. It helps significantly on the electricity bill. My favourite place is the dining area where I have a clear view of the entire home. My husband’s favourite is the bedroom. He needs a comfortable one to ensure he gets a good night’s sleep.
The decision to choose a construction company is not just about getting a quality house; the aspects of service and contract clarity are equally important. Khun May mentioned, "I am very impressed with PD House in terms of quality, clear contract terms, and service that meets our needs precisely, not just as we wished. They informed us of the pros and cons, and we discussed everything thoroughly. We had phone calls with their team until late. We made some adjustments, and they were committed to making them. The results turned out really well for us. Additionally, the company builds energy-efficient homes using materials like autoclaved concrete and roofs that effectively reduce heat inside the house. It helps significantly on the electricity bill since we don’t need to use the air conditioner or keep the lights on all the time. My favorite place is the dining area where I have a clear view of the entire home. My husband’s favorite is the bedroom. He needs a comfortable one to ensure he gets a good night’s sleep.

Some may imagine that it is a sample house from a development project and others may possibly have other ideas. Nevertheless, it is the home where this couple—Khun May and Khun To - will spend a happy life together.
